What Students & Professionals Are Saying
Thank you so much for a great learning experience. It has exceeded my expectations and sparked my curiosity around future learning also. Communication, support and structure was excellent.
This course was excellent and provided a grounding and framework in which to work with teens. I have felt very held and supported as I did this course which give me the confidence to do counselling work with adolescents. I would recommend this course for anyone wishing to work with teens.
I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Each lecturer brought so much of their experience to their module. It was very well organised and structured. I would highly recommend studying with the Greenane Centre.
I very much enjoyed the course. It was very comprehensive and each lesson was timely delivered for maximum benefit as we progressed towards the client work module. The course managers were always on hand to help with any questions. The in-person modules were a pleasure, not least because the setting is so beautiful. All-in-all, it was a very positive experience.
Loved it, has really helped my practice and I continuously refer back to materials. Highly recommend this course.
I found the course amazing my only take away would be maybe a face to face orientation to meet everyone in person at the beginning of the course as I found the in person day so beneficial and lovely.
I am delighted to have completed my Diploma in Integrative Adolescent Psychotherapy with the Greenane Centre. It was an enjoyable and informative experience delivered with care and integrity by all involved. I have learnt so much about myself personally and professionally which has been transformative. I now feel more equipped and ethically grounded to support adolescents through their therapeutic journeys. Overall, I found the course great and I’d highly recommend to other professionals. Thank you to all involved and to Liz and Paul for everything.
Excellent. I would highly recommend the course.
Absolutely fantastic course, excellent teaching and practical reflection and equipping.
This was a very informative and relevant course which I feel has really equipped me for working therapeutically with adolescent clients. The workshops on how to work creatively with young clients, were a highlight of the year for me. The team at the Grenane Centre was very professional and thorough in providing this course as well as being very approachable and supportive. I have recommended this course to many of my colleagues already and I wouldn’t hesitate to undertake any other trainings with Greenane.
I enjoyed this course so much as it has given me so much knowledge and insight into working with Adolescents.
The course provided me with a comprehensive education on adolescent psychotherapy. The blended approach afforded me the opportunity to partake in the course.
An amazing experience with fantastic supports right through both from facilitators and Liz & Paul. A very relaxed, warm welcoming and contained experience, thank you for everything and I hope to see you again in the future.

“This is my third training programme with the Greenane Centre and certainly won’t be my last. Top class trainers who are so passionate and informed. Having access to class recordings was fantastic as were the class notes and support offered by Liz and Paul. I really enjoyed the blend of theory, skills and experiential nature of the programme. The experiential days were brillant, Liz really made me feel welcome, supported and safe. The therapeutic garden spaces are wonderful, a haven!”

“The Greenane Centre courses are well planned and supplemented by a professional support system for the participants and the course facilitators. The team in Greenane create and cultivate a great sense of community among the course participants and a fantastic learning atmosphere that assists the theoretical and practice inputs. I look forward to our continued working relationship and providing a high standard of training that benefits the practitioner and ultimately the service user.”
– Brian Foley | MI Ireland
“Family Carers Ireland Counselling Service has twice had Liz Quish deliver her workshop on ‘Understanding the Suicidal Mind and Self-Harming Behaviours’ to our staff, volunteers and members of our external counselling panel. The feedback from participants has been overwhelmingly positive, and attendance at the workshop is now mandatory for all staff and volunteers with the service. In this workshop Liz provides a clear, comprehensive and practical framework for understanding, and working therapeutically with, both suicide and self-harm. I would have no hesitation in recommending this workshop to any counselling service who wish to establish a safe, consistent and evidence based approach to managing suicidal ideation and intent.”
– Anna de Siún | National Lead for Psychosocial Support
“The therapists at the Kerry Rape & Sexual Abuse Centre recently undertook a 30 hour training with the Greenane Centre. This training was tailor made to suit the needs of the organisation, all queries were dealt with in a swift, professional manner. The feedback from the therapists was that they found the different workshops beneficial and really appreciated the resources given to them. They are now using some of the resources and learnings with their clients.”
– Vera O’Leary Manager | Kerry Rape & Sexual Abuse Centre
