Led by the renowned Deb Dana, this two day conference in October is designed for professionals seeking to expand their knowledge and application of Polyvagal Theory. Offering therapists, clinicians and helping professionals a deeply immersive and interactive Polyvagal learning experience, this 2 day conference goes beyond theory, offering attendees a deep dive into the clinical use of PVT and Deb’s unique framework bridging the gap between knowledge and real-world clinical application.

Meet The Presenter

Deb Dana

Deb Dana, LCSW, is a clinician, consultant, author, and international lecturer on polyvagal theory-informed work with trauma survivors and is the leading translator of this scientific work to the public and mental health professionals. A founding member of the Polyvagal Institute, Deb developed the signature Rhythm of Regulation® Clinical Training Series: The Science of Feeling Safe Enough To Fall in Love with Life and Take the Risks of Living.

A clinician and consultant specialising in working with complex trauma, Deb Dana is widely credited with adapting Polyvagal Theory to trauma treatment.  Deb is, a clinical advisor to Khiron Clinics and an advisor to Unyte-ILS.

Deb’s work shows how an understanding of Polyvagal Theory is applicable across the board to relationships, mental health, and trauma.  She delves into the intricacies of how we can all use an understanding of the organising principles of Polyvagal Theory to change the ways we navigate our daily lives.  Deb is well known for translating PVT into a language and application that is both clear and accessible – and for her significant contribution, pioneering Rhythm of Regulation® methodology, tools, techniques and practices which continue to open up the power of PVT for professionals and curious people from diverse backgrounds and all walks of life.​

Over the 2 days Deb will present the organising principles of Polyvagal Theory in combination with practices that bring PVT into practical application. Deb will explore  the clinical application of Polyvagal Theory enabling therapists and practitioners to integrate a Polyvagal lens into their work offering new ways to support clients in accessing experiences of connection and safety in their nervous systems.
Attendees will:
  • gain a solid grounding in the fundamental concepts, terminology and landscape of Polyvagal Theory and its application in diverse settings.
  • explore the language of Polyvagal Theory, learn about the nervous system’s landscape, and discover how to incorporate a Polyvagal approach into their professional work, regardless of therapeutic approach or modality.
  • gain insight into the distinguished framework, methodology, tools and practices that Deb has specifically created to bring the undeniable power of Polyvagal Theory to life.
