Overview

Delivered Online via Zoom

This is the only Diploma-level training in Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy available in Ireland

Our IACP CPD Approved and Recognised Diploma in MI and CBT provides theoretical and advanced skills-based training.  A core strength of our Diploma in MI & CBT is its emphasis on the seamless integration of both modalities. Motivational Interviewing provides the relational foundation, building the therapeutic alliance, eliciting intrinsic motivation, and preparing clients for change. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy offers a structured framework to consolidate change, equipping clients with practical tools to identify, challenge, and reframe unhelpful thoughts and behaviours. Through an integrative framework, both modalities offer a very responsive and clinically robust therapeutic approach.

Our Diploma in MI &CBT is intended for practitioners seeking to enhance their competency in addressing client ambivalence, behavioural change challenges, and maladaptive cognitive patterns. Our programme is theoretically underpinned by evidence-based practices, with a focus on skill development and enhancement, ensuring transferability to clinical practice.

Suitable for counsellors, psychotherapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, mental health nurses and coaches.

CPD Recognised and Approved by The Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy and awarded 60 CPD Points.
